Shop For Graco Nautilus 3-in-1 Car Seat, Matrix

This seat replaced a high back booster for my 47lb 4yo DD. Even though this is within FHS guidelines, she was too fidgety to wear the lap belt properly. I was really glad to find a 5pt harness up to 65Lbs (in my price range). She sleeps well in it and is comfortable. The cup holder is integrated with the arm so it's nice and solid. Assembly is a cinch, ease of adjustment and installation is comperable to other seats. It seems very sturdy and the price on amazon was the best ANYWHERE, and I looked. The only negative is that the headrest fabric causes MAJOR tangles in her long hair, even when she wears it up. This hasn't happened on any of her other car seats. I plan on solving this by covering the headrest portion with a fitted cotton slipcover.

I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

Graco Nautilus 3-in-1 Car Seat, Matrix Review

Up until now, I've had Evenflo car seats for my toddler because of their Consumer Reports rating, however, my husband and I were never really thrilled with their ease of use. She's about to outgrow the 40 lb. weight limit on them, however, and it was time to find a car seat / booster that would grow with her until she was big enough to sit in the car by herself. This car seat was perfect for that!

I researched for a while before selecting this car seat. I purchased one to try it out before purchasing another 2 so that we'll ultimately have 3. (One for each of our cars, plus one for our babysitter's car.) I'm thrilled with the seat and am now purchasing the other two!

The things I like:
1. The car seat just feels and looks well made. The fabric is nice, the arms are built well, the chair is a good size, but also fits perfectly well in our car. Cup holder is built in and sturdy, not flimsly like the other's I've had.

2. Easy to size with lots of slots for the internal harness and lots of positions for the headrest. The adjustment to tighten or loosen the harness is also very easy to get to and adjust.

3. Great headrest. I love the "wings" on the headrest...gives my toddler something to rest her head on when she falls asleep.

4. The internal harness buckles are very well made; buckle and release very smoothly. I also like the padding for the upper part of the harness (never had these on my other carseats.)

5. Easy to install in car. It was also very easy to tighten...it fit well on the seat and tightened up very easily. Car seat didn't even budge once I had it tightened.

All in all I'm more than pleased with this purchase. Amazing price (plus free Amazon shipping) for what you're getting!!Get more detail about Graco Nautilus 3-in-1 Car Seat, Matrix.

Graco Nautilus 3-in-1 Car Seat, Matrix Top Quality

we were tempted by the idea that this car seat comes apart to work as a booster later, so as not to have to buy a second seat in later stages. The amazon.com price was right too. The problem with this seat is it does not recline, the ad mentiones it reclines but the recline is so minimal it makes no difference. In long drives the seat is problematic because when our daughter sleeps her head falls forward or sideways. If I were to look for a carseat now, I bould purchase one that perhaps does not convert into a booster but tilts significantly.

Graco Nautilus 3-in-1 Car Seat, Matrix This instant

I'm so happy I didn't drop $300 on a Britax seat. Baby Bargains loved this seat. It looks great and is quite versatile over many years (25-100 lbs). My son loved the seat. Built-in cup holder is nice. The fireman who installed it was quite impressed as well.Get more detail about Graco Nautilus 3-in-1 Car Seat, Matrix.

We replaced another forward facing carseat with this one. Our 3 year old 32 pound grandson fits in this one so much better. He never fell asleep in his other seat but in this one falls asleep easily without slumping over. It's well padded and seems to just fit him better all around. He loves it and is especially impressed by the built in cup holder. Just like a man, huh? We are extremely pleased with this seat....and the Amazon price was the best we found.Get more detail about Graco Nautilus 3-in-1 Car Seat, Matrix.

Graco Nautilus 3-in-1 Car Seat, Matrix Best Quality

I really did a lot of research before buying this carseat. My 3 1/2 year old son is on the verge of outgrowing his Alpha Omega 3-in-1 carseat (41" and 38lbs),I want to keep him in a 5pt. harness for as long as possible. I considered the Britax Frontier, but I couldn't be happier with the Nautilus. It was so easy to assmeble and install. My son LOVES it. He loves the cup holder and the little cubbies on the insides of the armrests. The headwings are quite impressive, which is very important to me. The fabric is very nice and the padding is great. He is very comfortable in this seat and we absolutely love it. It's also nice to have it convert to a booster later on for up to 100lbs with either the highback or backless option. I would recommend this carseat to anyone whose child is too large to be rear-facing! Get more detail about Graco Nautilus 3-in-1 Car Seat, Matrix.
