this seat is clearly very safe and is comfortable for my son. We used it on a long car trip, and it was much better than our previous seat. nice that it has a cup hold and toy compartments. disappointed that it expires in 2012 (seatback) and 2016 (seat bottom), though, as it advertised it can be used to age 10.
